WriteNudge for Mac

Get WriteNudge.

Mac beta.

WriteNudge is an invite-only beta for Apple silicon Macs. Invited testers receive the download and installation steps by email.

Requirements

Set up the help you want.

  • macOS 26 or later.
  • Basic spelling and clarity checks do not require an installed model.
  • Apple’s on-device eligible sentence fixes require Apple Intelligence enabled and available on a supported Mac.
  • Tone, Prompt, selection actions and sentence fallback require separately installed Ollama and a suitable local model. Memory and disk requirements vary by model.
  • Accessibility permission is required for cross-app checking in supported fields. The internal editor does not require it.

The app is distributed directly by SSU and is intentionally unsandboxed for cross-app Accessibility support. Intel Macs have not been tested.
