WriteNudge license

End-user license agreement.

This agreement covers your use of the WriteNudge software for Mac. It is between you and Synergistic Solutions Unlimited LLC (SSU), an Illinois limited liability company.

1. License

Personal use on your own Macs.

When you buy a license, SSU grants you a personal, nonexclusive license to install and use WriteNudge on your own Macs. The license is for your use. Do not share, sell or distribute your license key to other people.

This is a license to use the software, not a transfer of ownership. SSU keeps all rights not granted here. Do not copy the software except as needed to use it, and do not reverse engineer it except where the law lets you.

2. Key and trial

Checked on your Mac.

Your license is a signed key that WriteNudge verifies on your Mac, without an internet connection. You do not need a WriteNudge account.

The free trial lasts 14 days from the first time you open the app. The trial is tracked on your Mac. When the trial ends without a license, editing is turned off. The text in the editor stays readable, and you can copy or export it. Entering a valid license turns editing back on.

3. Using the app

Review suggestions before you apply them.

WriteNudge requires macOS 26 or later and is distributed directly by SSU. Checking text in other apps needs Accessibility permission, which you can turn off at any time. Rewrites use eligible Apple on-device processing or Ollama running on your Mac. Ollama is separate software with its own terms.

Suggestions can be wrong. Read each change before you accept it, and keep your own copies of important work. Other apps may limit what WriteNudge can read, replace or undo. The privacy page describes what the app does with your writing and what it sends during update checks.

4. No warranty

Provided as is.

To the extent the law allows, WriteNudge is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. SSU does not promise error-free results, uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every app.

This section does not reduce your 30-day refund or any rights the law does not let a contract waive.

5. Law and contact

Illinois law applies.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, subject to rights under the law where you live that cannot be waived. Purchases are covered by the terms and handled by Paddle, SSU’s merchant of record.
